The formation of meta-subject skills of pupils in the context of teaching project-based mathematics

The article justifies and reveals the didactic potential of project-based learning mathematics to develop meta-subject skills of pupils in the format of FSES. Besides, the article presents a set of active methods of teaching mathematics, in which project-based learning is basic, while other methods only enhance its effectiveness in an integrative way. The authors define the content of project activities of pupils as a cluster, which consists of mathematical tasks with an interdisciplinary context, tasks of a project type, project tasks and projects. They also developed a methodological matrix, accumulating the didactic potential of project-based learning mathematics to develop meta-subject skills of pupils.
