The essence of environmental problems and ways of their solution are discussed. An assessment on the worldview level of such concepts as private and fundamental contradictions is given. The source of environmental problems is specified. There are three reasons for the contradiction between natural (nature) and artificial (second nature). The affiliation of the natural phenomenon to one form or another of the motion of matter is discussed. It is argued that the “second” nature cannot be part of a society that is a totality and system of various outside natural relations between people and established for these purposes bodies, institutions and organizations, but it is also a transition, connecting society and nature. The question is raised that the development of technicalism is fraught with both positive and negative. From the point of view of human interaction with nature in their various relationships, three worldview positions are realized. The worldview of violence sees in nature only our power, a means to satisfy needs. A person with such a worldview does not project himself into the natural world; he is not its subject, but, consequently, a subject of culture. The outlook of care sees in nature only an outer shell that hides the essence of the spiritual world. A person leaves the worldly vanity. The world view of co-creation allows a person to project himself into the world of a culture and nature that he has mastered and mastered. He becomes capable of expressing a value attitude to nature. This strategy allows the most rational use of all the possibilities of the “second nature”, preserving the natural environment for both the present generation and descendants. At the same time, all the achievements of scientific and technical progress serve to preserve and develop technology, to develop productive forces that harmoniously combine man and the environment. The formation of one of the worldview positions (care, violence or co-creation) is, in particular, the formation of an adequate entity and the content of ecological consciousness. Forming a worldview position of co-creation, we form the ecological consciousness adequate for this position among students.
