Formation of students motivation for physical education as a psychological-pedagogical problem

The article considers the formation of positive motivation among students to engage in physical culture as a psychological and pedagogical problem. The most common motives that encourage a person to physical culture and sports activities are presented. It is noted that the traditional system of physical education of students is ineffective. The authors propose psychological and pedagogical conditions that will allow forming a motivational and value attitude to the discipline «Physical Culture»
