Military units in the 1930s as a source (form) of legal regulation of territorial planning of military facilities (historical and legal aspect)

The article addresses the process of national military units’ formation in the Soviet state as a source of territorial planning of military facilities. The author gives a historical and legal periodization of the territorial placement of national military units. Attention is focused on the need to take into account and apply the experience of territorial planning of national units in the process of legal regulation of the placement of defense and security facilities at the present stage.
