Educational content development based on cloud technologies employment

The analysis of technological and methodological decisions aimed to optimize cloud services’ application in development of the subject content studied at higher educational institutions is presented. Parameters for effective content development are described: types of educational activity, categories of users, organizational principles, infrastructural charts, types of cloud platforms, subject-oriented resources, didactic requirements, methodological foundations, forms of placement on the internet, technology of introduction during educational process and management. As a result of using cloud technologies positive changes in the quality of information and communication environment were registered: growth of the social networks’ role in the educational process, activation of collaboration during content development process, realization of individual user strategies of teaching. The methods solving the problem of content management are offered: universal approach to local database development, definition of didactic and cognitive possibilities of cloud services, development of application methodology. The prospects of cloud services’ application in the field of education depend upon detailed elaboration of the models integrating informative and educational resources, creation of the exchange rules, and development of co-operation algorithms involving all subjects of educational process. Differentiated user demands should also be taken into account in the process of cloud technologies’ application.
