Formation of general competencies of students of professional educational organizations in terms of hard skills and soft skills

The article is devoted to the problem of the formation of general competencies in trems of hard skills and soft skills. The article considers the current trends in the development of secondary vocational education, the requirements of the labor market for graduates of colleges and technical schools. The necessity of developing students' general competencies as a component of the aspect of hard skills and soft skills is substantiated. The authors draw parallels between the formulations of general competencies contained in the Federal State Educational Standard and soft skills necessary for work. The analysis of the content of the main professional educational programs of secondary vocational education in terms of the formation of general and professional competencies within the framework of the development of disciplines and modules is carried out. The paper substantiates the necessity of synchronous, parallel, purposeful and structured process of formation of general and professional competencies in all cycles of the main professional educational programs of secondary vocational education. Colleges are faced with the task of forming a specialist who is competent both in the professional and social sphere, competitive in the harsh conditions of the labor market, creative and mobile in finding solutions to problems, physically healthy and possessing the qualities of a patriot citizen, possessing equally highly developed hard skills and soft skills. The article examines the contradictions existing between the requirements of the modern labor market and the content of secondary vocational education programs.
