Creation an organizational and management model for the implementation of agile methods of project management in public authorities in the Russian Federation

This article discusses topical issues of introducing agile methods of project management into the project management system in public authorities. The author substantiates the importance and place of agile project management methods in the system of achieving the national goals of the Russian Federation, proposes the author’s organizational and managerial model, and also presents recommendations for public authorities that can be applied by project team leaders to select a project approach and assess the potential for further implementation of agile methods. The proposed recommendations can make a theoretical and methodical contribution to the improvement of the current system of project management in the public sector. The author’s recommendations correspond to current trends in terms of the development of a modern, efficient and flexible system for managing national, federal and regional projects.
