The article deals with the pedagogical aspects of the formation of academic writing skills of students at the post-graduate studies stage. The article specifies the notion of writing academic skills and justifies organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of the skills that is English for Specific Purposes distance learning course on the Moodle platform.
