The formation of marriage concept in family law of the Russian Federation and the CIS countries

The paper deals with a controversial issue in the science of family law, which is relating to the possibility and feasibility of legal definition of marriage concept. In the process of the method applying of comparative-legal analysis and comparison in time and space there is substantiated urgency of this issue, as well as the opportunity and the need to consolidate the legal definition of marriage concept in family legislation of the Russian Federation. This article is addressed to Master students, postgraduate students and lecturers of higher education institutions of law, as well as scholars.
