Formation of future teachers’ positive attitude towards the artistic and cultural environment of the region as a prerequisite for solving tasks of social education

Statement of the problem.The article analyzes the problems of the readiness of teachers to use the educational potential of the artistic and cultural environment. The authors emphasize the contradiction between the need to examine the attitude of teachers towards the artistic and cultural environment as a resource for solving educational problems and the lack of necessary techniques. The problem of the formation of positive attitude of future teachers towards the socio-pedagogical opportunities of the artistic and cultural environment of the region should be solved even within the university frame-work in the process of their preparation through the potential of educational and extracurricular activities. The purpose of the articleis to determine the values-based orientations of teachers in the field of artistic culture and creativity, their degree of understanding of the socio-pedagogical capabilities of the artistic and cultural environment and the role of a teacher in the process of introducing a child to the artistic and cultural traditions of the region and cultural values; to show some ways of formation of positive attitude towards the artistic and cultural environment as a resource of solving problems of education in a pedagogical university. The research methodology consists of systemic, hermeneutic and interdisciplinary approaches to the study of the environment and its socio-pedagogical potential, as well as to the analysis of socio-pedagogical phenomena. The research methods are questionnaires, content analysis, analysis of the experience of the Department of General and Social Pedagogy at the Voronezh State Pedagogical University in formation of positive attitude of students towards the artistic and cultural environment. Research results. Techniques are proposed of determining the attitude of teachers towards the artistic and cultural environment of the region as a resource of solving educational problems within the framework of its socio-pedagogical diagnosis. A study of the attitude of teachers to the artistic and cultural environment is carried out. The experience is presented of the formation of attitudes of students at the pedagogical university towards interaction with the artistic and cultural environment of the region in the framework of solving educational problems. Conclusion. The study of the teachers attitude towards the artistic and cultural environment and its capabilities will help identify problems that need attention in the process of preparing students of a pedagogical university for solving educational problems, taking into account the potential of the environment. The proposed techniques for diagnosing teachers’ attitude towards the artistic and cultural environment have been tested and may be useful for teachers in higher education, cultural and educational workers for the formation of professional competencies.
