The article discusses the problem associated with the need not only to form social and professional competencies, but also to evaluate them within the framework of the processes of professionally oriented education and professional and industrial socialization. The authors offer an original description of the phenomenon of «professionally oriented education». The authors offer justification of the need not only to study the methods of forming social and professional competencies, but also to assess their orientation and severity with the participation of representatives of personnel services and specialists of enterprises - prospective employers. The author’s definition of the phenomenon of «social and professional competence» and possible options for creating sociograms with the participation of representatives of the employer and students of a professional educational organization are reported. The authors describe the method of comparative analysis of the social order for the social and professional competencies of a future employee (student of vocational education) from the position of a potential employer and from the position of future specialists themselves. The proposed methodology allows an educational organization (class teacher) to more accurately formulate the goals of professionally oriented education.
