The formation of students’ cognitive activity in the conditions of the electronic information and education environment of higher education institution

The results of the research on a question of the organization of students’ educational cognitive activity in the conditions of the electronic information and education environment of higher education institution are presented. The topic is actual and significant for modern pedagogical science. The experiment includes introduction of the model of management of students’ cognitive activity in the training process. The process is organized via the electronic information and education environment of higher education institution created on the basis of the Google Apps Education Edition cloudy technologies. The experiment was conducted during 2013-2015 with the students of Omsk State Agrarian University. The object of research is the process of students’ informative activity formation in the conditions of the electronic information and education environment of a higher educational institution. Research methods included the analysis of references, legislative regulations, systematization, comparison, the analysis of processes of education informatization; organization, carrying out pedagogical experiment, questioning, testing, statistical processing of experimental data. The contradictions between the possibility of management of students’ cognitive activity on the basis of use of Electronic Information Educational Environment (EIEE) and the process of creation and introduction of these resources in educational activity of higher education institution were revealed. The EIEE main components of higher education institution were defined. The model of the organization of students’ independent activity on the basis of application of cloudy technologies within the electronic information and education environment of higher education institution is developed. The results of research were analysed and the corresponding conclusions are drawn.
