Formation of cognitive competencies in junior school age

Бесплатный доступ

The article presents a study aimed at identifying conditions that contribute to the formation of cognitive competence associated with combination actions in primary schoolchildren. A total of 114 third-grade schoolchildren participated in group experiments: 56 people made up the control group, 58 - the experimental group. With the experimental group, 32 additional extracurricular weekly classes were conducted based on the material of the author’s non-curricular content program “Combinatorics,” which included search tasks of various kinds. As a result of the study, it was shown that classes in the school curriculum and the Combinatorics program (experimental group) contribute to the formation of combination actions to a significantly greater extent than classes only in the third grade school curriculum (control group).
