Formation of legal culture among aviation university cadets as a prerequisite for professional development

The features of the formation of a legal culture among students studying at a university in a technical specialty (not lawyers) are considered. An overview of the experience of teaching air law to cadets at an aviation university, included as a short section in the general course of the discipline “Jurisprudence,” is presented. It is concluded that immediately before flight practice, it is most advisable to familiarize cadets with the documents regulating flight work; note-taking, repetition and discussion by cadets in groups of regulatory documents in the period preceding ground training will contribute to the development of professional competence of junior cadets and form the overall legal culture of future aviation navigators. The article provides a brief analysis of publications on topic of the formation of legal culture. It is stated that the diversity of scientific understanding of the topic essentially reflects the real state of the legal culture of the population of Russia.
