The article reveals the essence and structure of professionally oriented communicative competence of students of pedagogical higher education institutions. It reinforces the need to introduce a language club into the extra-curricular activities of students, based on the existing shortage of their professionally-oriented language training in educational activities. In addition, the article presents an analysis of the results of the implementation of the language club developed program as a pedagogical tool to form the phenomenon under study and proves its effectiveness
