Social networks have become an integral part of people's daily lives. They serve a variety of functions, from communication to self-expression. However, this digital space also presents challenges and risks, both for society as a whole and for individuals. One of these risks is the potential for manipulation through social networks. This article explores the issue of manipulation in social networks and highlights the importance of developing psychological resilience as a key element of personal security in the digital age. The article analyzes the main techniques of manipulation and user vulnerability factors, such as targeting, emotional manipulation and involvement, disinformation, the use of fake accounts, and cyberbullying. It highlights the components that determine an individual's resistance to manipulation. The article also suggests ways to foster and develop resilience.
