The article discusses the need to develop a reflexive competence of future teachers. The author defines reflexive competence as an integral personality trait. The author describes in detail the composition of the reflexive competence, which includes motivational, cognitive, activity-based and personal components. The article considers the most effective forms of the educational process aimed at the reflexive competence development (discussion-based lectures, conversation-based lectures, etc.). It is concluded that it is necessary to develop the reflection mechanisms of students.
