The indicators system formation for socio-environmental and economic evaluation of the regional system of solid municipal waste management

The ar ticle considers the approaches to assessing the effectiveness of wastemanagement on the basis of both individual and integral indicators. The necessityof improving the system of solid municipal waste management has been validated.It is proved that the set of indicators for the development of an integral indicatorshould correspond to the triune concept of sustainable development includingsocial, economic and ecological aspects. The expediency of their compliance withthe goals and objectives of global and national sustainable development is alsoshown. The author provides recommendations for the use of a system of indicatorscharacterizing each component of the sustainable development concept forconstructing an integral indicator.
