Formation of motivation system of ultimate consumers in the management of energy saving

According to the analysis of existing housing in Moscow there were identified the main directions of improving the efficiency of final energy consumption in the residential buildings. Based on the data obtained during the survey showing how the homeowners pay for water, there was made a cost structure for hot water and cold-water payment. On the basis of the economic psychology principles the author makes up a classification of owners in the apartment buildings. The proposed classification allows to take into account the psychology of saving, factors in consumers’ choice, as well as methods of motivation and incentives in the energy saving management.
