This article is devoted to the study of the essence of the concept of «personnel», «labor potential», «labor motivation», the relationship of these concepts is reflected, both in theory and in practical activities. The issues of forming a system of motivation for labor in its relationship and interdependence with the assessment of the results of the personnel of the enterprise are considered. The article presents the significance of labor motivation, methods of staff motivation, determined and substantiated the feasibility of using motivational methods that contribute to the professional development of staff, and the achievement of labor productivity growth.
