Formation of the healthcare system in Inner Mongolia: initial stage (1947-1952)

The article studies the initial period in the history of healthcare in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region since the proclamation of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Government on May 1, 1947. After the establishment of people's democratic regime in the region under the leadership of Ulanfu, the newly formed government faced with the task of solving problems in the field of healthcare and medicine, which did not receive significant attention during the Qing era and during the years of the Chinese Republic. A study of the measures taken by the new government makes it possible to determine the public health problems, on which the authorities focused their efforts as part of the modernization of Mongolian autonomy.
