Building the social well-being of people with disabilities through the vocational rehabilitation and employment (results of opinion polls)

The paper presents the results of a sociological study aimed at studying the problem of meeting the employment needs of disabled people. The study was conducted using a questionnaire, a formalized interview, and an expert survey. The author's view on the structural components of the concept of social welfare is represented based on detailed analysis of this notion, the normative and subjective well-being of the person is highlighted. Special attention is paid to the specifics of creating the well-being of a certain category of citizens - disabled people through their labor rehabilitation. The subject of the study is the social well-being of disabled people. The object is the process of forming the social well-being of disabled people. The study identifies the main problem of disability - the problem of unequal opportunities. The role of professional rehabilitation in achieving social well-being of the studied category of citizens is considered. Based on the results of the study, specific recommendations on ways to improve the professional well-being of disabled people were formulated.
