The formation of the sociocultural space of the Arctic in the context of intercivilizational interaction (the case of Yakutia)

The article considers the formation process of the unified integral sociocultural space of the Arctic region of Yakutia. Based on both published and unpublished sources we show changes in ethnic composition, economic differentiation of the natural environment and landscape and the emergence of new types of economic-cultural complexes. Special attention is paid to the problems of intercivilizational interaction in the domain of spiritual culture of the peoples of the region
