Development of sociocultural competence of foreign students on the basis of Russian tales

Learning of a language shouldn’t be limited by linguistic realities only, it should involve the study of culture, personal characteristics of native speakers, their worldview. This approach corresponds with the social culturology, the study that crosses boundaries between linguistics and culturology. The article presents a practical Russian language lesson focused on development of sociocultural competence of foreign students.
