The results of long-term studies of 4 berry crops are briefly presented: honeysuckle, gooseberry, black currant, sea buckthorn, suitable for cultivation on an industrial scale, characterized by good adaptation to the harsh climate of Transbaikalia, which come into fruition in the second or third years after planting. It is relatively easy to propagate vegetatively, and the agricultural technique for their cultivation is less complicated. The harsh climate of Transbaikalia places strict requirements on cultivated horticultural crops and, first of all, on their winter hardiness. These crops are more winter-hardy, and their above-ground part can withstand air temperatures down to -400 C.
