Formation of technical and interdisciplinary competencies in future it specialists in the context of digitalization of dental practice

The problem of implementing digital technologies in medical, particularly dental practice has been actualized for two main reasons: firstly, these technologies optimize the professional activities of specialists working in this field; secondly, it is of interest to students studying in IT fields as it allows them to participate in developing software that is in demand in healthcare. The range of methodological approaches to researching this issue has been analyzed. Software solutions designed for automating the work of dental clinics are presented. The authors' development of an information system for automating dental practice is described. A comparative analysis of the level of technical and interdisciplinary skills formation during the design of "Desktop application for automating dental practice" has been conducted.
