Thermal regime formation of soils in coniferous ecosystems of boreal zone in reference to dominating tree species and forest type

The paper deals with thermal regime of soils in five coniferous communities of middle taiga subzone. Extremely high or low soil surface temperatures were measured depending on forest type. The sums of soil temperatures for the summer period at different depths were estimated. Particularities and variations in heat accumulation by soils in the studied forest ecosystems in seasonal dynamics were identified.
