Developing engineering students' teamwork skills in the English language classroom

The paper is dedicated to searching the ways of organizing the process of teaching a foreign language to engineering students while implementing a competency-based approach. The authors studied the domestic and foreign experiences in organizing collective forms of interaction between students in the learning process, defined the differences between the forms of group and team interaction, elaborated the nomenclature of teamwork skills and the technique to develop teamwork skills, which is put into practice of teaching the discipline «Foreign Language».
