Formation of professional competence of teachers in developing the program of a particular school subject, advanced level course

The article indicated the problem of teacher awareness of his activities in the conditions of the education modernization, namely the transition to the Federal State Educational Standard of General Education. In the article are considered the definitions of concepts such as "professionalism" and "competence" of a teacher, the essence of the teachers basic competence. Author establishes link between some important documents and teacher activities in the process of mastering some skills in developing particular school subject, advanced level course. Author indicates the form of work for teaching staff and work phases, the goals and objectives in developing advanced level course program in the conditions of the transition of the particular subject program to the Federal State Educational Standard of (Complete) General Education, as a result a teacher acquires new competence.
