Forms of addresses in the Mansi language (on the example of folklore texts)

The article deals with the forms of addresses found in the texts of the Mansi oral folk art. The relevance of the research is determined by the fact that this theme in Mansi philology is insufficiently studied. The purpose of the work is to identify the forms of addresses in the texts of national folklore and their functions. Methods and techniques of direct observation and lexical and semantic analysis were used in the work. The author on the basis of the analyzed material revealed that the addresses: the names of persons by degree of kinship, proper names of people (heroes/characters of the work), the names by relationship between people etc. Most often, in the role of addresses is the terminology of kinship -akvekva(akvumekva, akva) ‘aunt', aki(akioyka) ‘uncle', apyg‘grandson, nephew', etc. The terms of kinship in folklore texts are often used in the field of non-kinship relations, which emphasizes the respect of the younger in relation to the older age. The address is accompanied by a special vocal intonation and often expressed by the form of the nominative case of a noun with possessive suffixes, for example: akvumekv (lit. my aunt), akimoyk (lit. my uncle), etc. The main function of the address is to attract the attention of the interlocutor. We did not reveal the forms of greeting and farewell of the heroes of the works in the analyzed texts. They are extremely rare in the texts of oral folk art and are the most common in spoken language. The most common they are in spoken language.
