Forms of social regulation: Relationship and historical perspective

This article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the main instruments of social regulation. The author calls them forms and includes external control, self-regulation and self-government among them. The fundamental features of each of them are shown, their dialectical interaction and interdependence are considered. At the same time, a hypothesis is put forward and substantiated, according to which the role and specific weight of self-regulation and self-government in the historical perspective will increase in comparison with external control.
