Force majeure as circumstance affecting the modification and termination of the contract

This article discusses the problems of force majeure in relation to the amendment and termination of the contract. In case of a significant violation of the terms of the contract, force majeure as a legal fact will be important if, along with the amendment or termination of the contract, the court has decided to recover damages or apply other measures of civil liability. Further, the article examines the consequences for contractual relations of a significant change in circumstances that are close in essence to the action of force majeure.
