The seeds of 14 soybean cultivars of domestic breeding were studied on content and composition of phospholipids. The research showed that there is a wide range of cultivars' variations according to the quantity of basic phospholipids. Soybean cultivars Fora and Valenta appeared to be the most useful for producing medical preparations. Comparison of the phospholipids' content in the studied cultivars has revealed significant differences among soybean cultivars and classes of phospholipids. High-protein cultivars of Kuban breeding are notable for the increased content of lecithins and a bit lower concentration of cephalins.
