Photoluminescence of oxygen complexes in aluminum nitride nanowhiskers

The article presents a comparative study of photoluminescence (PL) properties of the synthesized nanowhiskers and AlN bulk single crystals at room temperature in the spectral waveband-zone of 4.28 - 1.38 eV (290 - 900 nm) for excitation of 6.20 - 4.51 eV (200 - 275 nm). It is shown that in the luminescence of the of bulk and nanoscale structures under study there are luminescence bands with similar spectral parameters of 3.1 - 3.2 eV and 2.5 - 2.6 eV.
