Phraseological units with a religious component in Spanish

The article is devoted to the actual problems of penetration of phraseological units of biblical content into the Spanish language. Phraseologisms make the language brighter and more expressive, and the Spanish is no exception. A special place in the Spanish language is occupied by speech circulation of biblical origin. Borrowed from the Bible phraseological units in the process of its historical development acquired the status of expressions that reflect certain aspects of human life.
