Phraseological units designated time in the Kyrgyz language

The article is devoted to phraseological units that play an important role in the linguistic picture of the world of the Kyrgyz people, revealing the features of the lifestyle of the ethnic group. Research objectives: study of phraseological units denoting time in the Kyrgyz language. Research materials and methods: the article uses and analyzes phraseological units and their meanings in various life situations using the method of continuous selection, methods of semantic-cognitive and component analyses. Research results: given examples of phraseological units in the Kyrgyz language expressing the meanings of time in everyday rituals and customs. Conclusion: just like the ancient Kyrgyz nomadic people, most of phraseological units mean the subject of life and people behavior.
