The article considers the questions of intensive methods of teaching the special subjects vocabulary to foreign students, who study at technical departments of the Russian universities, based on the frame approach to organization of academic knowledge. The author presents a model of teaching the foreign students to write a summary in the form of frame-outline of the educational and scientific material.
