A new sunflower variety РК-05

Early maturing varieties are necessary for agriculture in Tambov region. Sunflower varieties and hybrids with a vegetative period of 110-125 days don't ripen. A new sunflower variety PK-05 has the vegetative period of 98-100 days. Seeds of this variety are very large, 1000 seeds weight 162 g in some years reaches, and it meets the market demands to seed size. This variety is intermediate between oil and confectionary sunflower types. The variety PK-05 is included into the State register of breeding achievements and allowed to produce in the Central Chernozem region in 2015.
