The article is a reflection on the relevance of the fundamentalization of the educational process as a necessary condition for its compliance with the requirements of the modern world. The author connects the fundamentalization of knowledge with the dialectical method as the highest way of cognition and the need to revise the strategy and goals of the educational process on their basis.
