Prevention of violence as a key competency for social workers

In the conditions of modern society, where the issues of violence and aggression are becoming more and more relevant, the formation of competences for the prevention of violence acquires special importance. The article deals with the current issues of professional competence formation of students-social workers in the field of violence prevention and the need to train future social workers who will effectively counter violence in various forms. Specifically, international approaches, educational strategies and practical training of specialists are analyzed.
