Features of figurative means in the story "Rendezvous" by I. Turgenev

The article analyzes the figurative means in the story of Turgenev's "Rendezvous". The author has revealed compositional techniques of construction of the story: framing, repeats, parallelism, contrast. The article describes the function of figurative means: prospective, figurative, cognitive. The author analyzed the associative-figurative nature of the story, and also the motive of the unity of man and nature.
