This article is devoted to the functions of the modern political system. It contains materials from various sources, as well as the results of the author's research. The article gives a detailed analysis of some functions of the modern political system. The author does not limit to only the classification of functions, but used several categorizations, which provided an opportunity to compare them. Such approach to the study of the functions of the modern political system allowed to research and analyze them much more deeply.
