Headings in the literary critical discourse in periodicals of Russian first wave 'emigr'es (an examination of literary reviews written in the 1920's)

Using an integrative approach, this article examines the heading as an essential, formative component of both the genre and the textual norm within the system of the pragmatic coordinates I-you-here-now, which form a cognitive-discursive linguistic paradigm. This article argues that within the literary-critical discourse the review heading broadens its functions, developing additional meanings, which reflect the weltanschauung of the communicators, who, in this case, are the first wave of Russian émigrés.
