Functional activity of thyroid gland during use of organic and inorganic iodine compound in the conditions of iodine deficiency in cattle

The authors estimated the efficiency of the use of organic and inorganic iodine compound for the treatment of animals' diseases as result of iodine deficiency in their ration. It was shown that the addition of Kalod and lodDar preparations to ration influences essentially on thyroid status, namely, on content of thyroid hormones - thyroxin and triiodothyronine - leading these parameters to physiological norm. The application of organic compound of lodDar result in the most positive result.
