The functional orientation of the parliament in the system of representative democracy

The article considers the functions of parliament in the system of representative democracy. It is concluded that the latent functions of the parliament can be a consequence of its incorrect functioning. Also, the author notes that the regional parliament functions exceed the limits of the functions stipulated by the normative legal acts.
