Functional restructuring of structural divisions of commercial organizations as an innovative approach to managing the production system

Current economic and industrial development trends require companies not only to optimize existing resources and processes, but also to apply innovative approaches and technologies to manage production systems. As a result, increasing production efficiency is a priority goal and requires constant and continuous development from all stakeholders. Organizations strive to improve their own efficiency in a variety of ways to improve the efficiency of production systems to maintain market competitiveness. The article examines the functional restructuring of the commercial company production structural divisions. The organization in question uses an innovative approach to managing the production system, namely, dividing the production system into four divisions, distinguished by type of work. The analysis description of the reorganization impact on the company’s performance, productivity and competitiveness is presented. After the reorganization, labor productivity in the group of companies significantly improved. Each department now deals with those tasks that best correspond to its competencies. This reorganization also allowed us to improve the process of interaction between employees, which allows us to avoid duplication of functions and focus on performing key tasks. Eventually, the result was the strengthening of the company’s competitiveness in the market and an increase in the number of successfully completed projects and, accordingly, satisfied customers. It should be noted that the economic component of the company’s activities has improved, expressed in a stable increase in revenue and gross profit, as well as profitability of sales. In conclusion, the importance of using innovative approaches to organizing and managing production in order to optimize business processes while maintaining competitive advantages in the market is noted. Openness to new ideas and the use of innovative approaches are key factors for the successful development of modern companies.
