Functional specifics of internet communication of teenagers

The article deals with the social and psychological characteristics of Internet communication causing its popularity among teenagers. The results of empirical studies describing the features of Internet communication of teenagers are presented herein, and special attention is paid to the functional characteristics of Internet communication of teenagers. Perspectives for further research are formulated.
