Functional and spatial model of development of trade function in the city

In this article the problem of improvement of functional and spatial structure with trade function in the conditions of opposition of interests of small business, developers and the government, materializing strategic interests by means of town planning, is covered. The author connects this perspective with the history of development of planning structure of the city of Samara and its formation as the center of the largest in the country and the Volga region's first polycentric agglomeration. Special attention is paid to questions of development of a network of non-stationary trade.
