Functional and semantic means of people's way of life linguistic descriptions in the south of Russia in the works of local historians of the XIX - beginning of the XX centuries

The present study analyzes specifics of functional and semantic means of expressing people's way of life conditioned by interaction of contextual lexico-semantic and lexico-grammatical features of linguistic units. Nuclear and peripheral constituents of the units are studied as synchronic layers at some periods (the first half of the XIX c, second half of the XIX c, end of the XIX - beginning of the XX cc. ). The article also focuses on the usage of verbs possessing qualitative life-style meaning or obtaining it in the context.
