Functional semantic analysis of spatial prepositions of the English language

The article is devoted to the functional semantic analysis of the spatial preposition "through". This verb is of particular interest to linguists due to the fact that it is often used in English texts. The preposition "through" has a number of features that have been identified as a result of numerous studies. This article attempts to systematize previously conducted research on this problem.
